Privacy Policy – ContactSync App by Bakker Machine Control

‍At Bakker Machine Control, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to the internal iOS application called “ContactSync,” which is intended for use exclusively by employees of Bakker Machine Control.

1. Purpose of the AppThe ContactSync app is designed for internal use only. It synchronizes customer contact data from our Zoho CRM system to the local contacts list on the iPhones of authorized staff members. This enables employees to recognize incoming calls from customers by displaying the associated name and company.

2. Data ProcessedThe app accesses and processes only contact data already stored in Zoho CRM, including:First and last nameCompany nameEmail addressPhone number(s)This data is stored locally on the employee’s iPhone, within the built-in iOS Contacts app.

3. How the Data Is UsedData is retrieved securely via HTTPS using the official Zoho CRM API. Synchronization occurs only after the user has granted permission and authenticated with their Zoho account.No data is shared with third parties, and no data is stored externally outside the iPhone and the Zoho CRM system of Bakker Machine Control.

4. Legal BasisThe processing of personal data in this app is based on the legitimate interests of Bakker Machine Control: namely, improving customer service and internal operational efficiency. As this is an internal tool, usage is strictly limited to authorized employees with CRM access.

5. Security MeasuresWe implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security, including:SSL/TLS encrypted communication with Zoho CRMAuthentication required before synchronizationDistribution exclusively via the company’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) system.

7. Data RetentionSynced contact data remains on the device as long as the app is actively used. If the app is removed or the device is unlinked from our MDM system, all locally stored contact data is deleted.
